The integral center post Hydro Clamp lifts the dial plate assembly for indexing clearance. After indexing, the Hydro Clamp retracts, bringing the dial plate assembly into pressurized intimate contact with the bearing thrust ring. This solid stack concept allows the Graham table to handle heavy thrust and impact loads that tables with a ball type carrier bearing cannot.
